Communicate with client to gather business requirements and identify business needs. Define business requirements and develop function specification. Perform business process mapping activities based on understanding of client business processes. Write detailed description of user needs, program function and steps required to develop or modify computer programs on
different operating systems. Study existing information processing system to evaluate effectiveness and propose enhancements to improve production. May perform SAP
configuration activities. Prepare recommendations for implementing new systems or procedures. Prepare project documentation such as requirements document, test plans and technical design document. Translate business requirements into conceptual and user interface models for technical development. Validate the technical enhancements performed using different testing methodologies. Observe and provide input and support during user acceptance testing. Coordinate with system administrators and configuration management team during deployment of the solution in various environments. Resolve issues encountered by business users post deployment.
Must have bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in computer, IT, business, economics, science, arts, commerce or a closely-related field. Additionally, position requires one (1) year of work experience in the offered job or as an IT/Computer/Systems/Application Analyst, Technical/Functional Consultant, SoftwareEngineer/Developer/Tester or a in closely related occupation. Employer is willing to accept three- or four-year Bachelor’s degree. Possible long-term relocation(s) to various unanticipated U.S. client site locations.
